Trip 18th February 2009
Thorpe park was open again for it's 'Thrill Chill' event this February. Not all the rides advertised to open such as Rush have done so yet because they are still having maintaince being carried out on them.It is thought that the delay in opening Rush is due to the snow earlier this month slowing work down. The rides that were avalible for the 'Thrill Chill' event were:

Colossus, Detonator, Mr Monkey;s Banana Ride, Nemesis Inferno, Quantum, Vortex, X:\ No Way Out and Zodiac.

There has been a lot of work done to the park over the closed season with work still being carried out in some areas. The most noticeable change to the park is the saw construction site with a lot of themeing and testing going on at the moment. Click Here to view the Saw construction page. Other changes around the park include Tidal Wave and X:\ No Way Out recieving new paint jobs. Also Nemesis Inferno has got shiny new wheel covers and Samurai is in pieces. Stealth is currently missing the side to it's winch building and it's maintainance is believed to take much longer than expected.Tidal wave is currently having it's chain replaced and Miss Hippos Fungle Safari is in the process of being removed.
